ELIMINATING THE GUESSWORK IN YOUR TRAINING PROGAM
It has been accepted in the canine industry when acquiring a 'green' detection dog candidate; the trainer(s) evaluate the dog based on various tests involving retrieve drive, confined areas, slick floors, loud noises etc. While these tests are a good indicator of the dog's potential, they have little to do with what you want the dog to actually do...search and respond.

Every green dog for sale we have available has been trained to search structures, packages and vehicles and responds with a solid sit response. Each dog works on lead and off lead and directs well. We train the dogs to search for a tennis ball or a small piece of a tennis ball. This allows you to introduce the odors you need for your particular needs (Narcotics, Explosives, Game, Arson etc.) You will need to proof the dog from tennis balls as you do food and other rewards during training.

Since the dog already searches and responds before you begin training, there is no doubt, the dog will complete your training program!

YOU CHOOSE THE LEVEL OF TRAINING
You may elect to have our staff start your green dog on odor or even finish the training of the dog.

We offer trained replacement dogs for experienced handlers. When the dog is finished, you come to our training facility and work with the dog until you are comfortable. We do not offer basic handler training for new handlers, but we can recommend several excellent basic schools.
